Anyways, let’s get to it. We’re going to draw this little bear and this little doggy today. First, we’ll start by importing all our materials. If you’re in your gallery, go to import, navigate to where you downloaded this pack. If you’re struggling with that, go back to the PDF where you found this video, and there will be some instructions on how to download and import your product. Mine is on my Dropbox; yours will probably be in your downloads. Then, find the Procreate canvases, and I’m going to find “Pretty Pencil Canvas One Large.” If you don’t have a lot of space on your iPad, choose the small one, noting that the brush sizes may differ. Today, we’ll use the large one. Once imported, open that up.

Next, let’s get our brushes. Go to your brushes, hit the plus sign, then import. Navigate to where you have them, find Procreate, find the brushes, and tap to install them. They come in three sets: pencils, charcoals, and patterns. Install all three, and you’ll find them at the top of your list.

Now, let’s get our swatches. Go to the palettes, hit the plus sign, new from file, and navigate to where you have them. Go into Procreate, find the swatches, and import them.

Today, we’ll be using the “Bear on Bike” color palette. Once you have them, set one as default.

Lastly, let’s get our guides. Go to the wrench, go to insert file, navigate to where you have them. The guides will be outside of the Procreate folder. Import “Bear on Bike Practice Guide.”

Now that we’ve imported everything, let’s start drawing. I’ll show you how to use the image stamp first. Create a new layer, go to Pretty Pencil Stamps, and choose the stamps you want. Create a new layer for each stamp to move them independently.

Now, let’s start drawing our bear. Create a new layer, choose the Dusty Sketcher brush, and start outlining the bear. Be loose and sketchy, adding details as you go. Experiment with different brushes and colors for variety.

Continue outlining the dog in the same manner, using various brushes and colors. Add details like shadows, patterns, and highlights to bring your drawing to life.

For shading and texture, use brushes like Soft Textured Pencil, Dusty Charcoal Sketcher, and Cross-Hatchers. Adjust the opacity and size of the brushes to achieve the desired effects.

Experiment with pattern brushes to add details like the skirt pattern. Adjust the pattern size in the brush settings to suit your preferences.

For the background, choose a textured background and adjust the colors to complement your drawing. Create a new layer for additional shading and blending.

Remember to use clipping masks to keep your adjustments within specific layers. Play with layer styles, opacities, and blending modes to enhance your drawing.

Once you’re satisfied with your drawing, you’ve completed your artwork using Pretty Pencils. Enjoy the creative process and have fun practicing with the diverse set of brushes and tools provided in the toolkit.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else I can do for you.
